Prabh completed the massage therapy program at Vancouver Career College in Burnaby and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. He chose massage therapy as a career as there are many problems that can be solved and prevented through this treatment method.
Prabh believes in working closely with his patients in order to provide the best care as he understands the stress of not being functional. He actively listens to his client’s complaints and issues, working with them to develop a complete and individualized treatment plan. Prabh makes sure to provide education to his clients to ensure they understand how their problem will be treated, resolved and managed. He uses a variety of techniques such as Traditional Swedish, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Joint Mobilization, and Passive Stretching techniques. Treatment is always followed by a home-based care plan to help maintain the level of effectiveness of the therapy.

After graduating with a Bachelors of Human Kinetics, Michael continued on to complete his Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. He has had previous training in a variety of settings, including hospital and private practice. Although Michael treats many different musculoskeletal injuries from motor vehicle accidents and work place injuries, he enjoys working with athletes of all nature and has volunteered with the Richmond Road Runners Lacrosse team as well as the BC Summer Games. He has completed further education in Soft Tissue Release Therapy and Mobilization with Movement certifications and in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) Dry Needling
Michael’s personal experience in a variety of sports as well as martial arts allows him to better understand the stresses and injuries participants are exposed to. He believes there is no magic pill to recovery, but rather, the key to a successful rehabilitation is through functional retraining and empowering the patient to become involved in every step of their recovery. As the co-founder of Trifecta Rehab, his embodiment of the three pillars of rehab is evident during any interaction with him.
When Michael is not working with clients, he spends his time taking part in recreational sports (tennis, soccer, hockey and martial arts), exercising, and furthering his education in the field.
